    The modern insurance industry started in the UK, which is home to the oldest personal insurance market in the world. The first life policies were sold as long ago as the early 18th century. Unfortunately, a significant number of deaths, home moves and other customer changes are never reported to insurers, and over time substantial unclaimed entitlements will inevitably accumulate.

    This applies equally to:

    • Protection policies
    • Investment savings products
    • Annuities/pensions

    Assets Recovered will work with any insurer to establish a program to identify and pay out these unclaimed entitlements to customers or their estates. As part of this programme, we will help establish “best practice” processes to ensure that all future unreported moves and deaths are identified and dealt with in a timely manner.

    Unfortunately, not all deaths, home moves or other changes of customer circumstances are reported and over time unclaimed entitlements will inevitably accumulate.
